Stranger than Fiction

I just finished watching Stranger than Fiction, which I really enjoyed. Talk about realism! Anyway, I noticed one of my comp books on the shelf of Dustin Hoffman's office - After Virtue, with a "used" sticker on it. I'm not sure if you can see it in this picture, but I do have to say, the TV in corner office is a nice touch.

I loved this film. Highly recommend it. And, yes, a TV in a professorial office is a must.

I have to admit Hoffman's character reminded me a great deal of how I see you in 30 years or so, pally.

I loved watching Hoffman on the lifeguard chair with a book wrapped in a plastic bag.

I also loved it that an English Professor was brought in as a detective/hero. What a great method he had for tracking the story down too. Brought me back to Hoffman's role as an existential detective in I Heart Huckabees.

And really, who could refuse that corner office, the nice couch he had, his cut to the chase attitude, and yet his ability to take on even an omniscient narrator? Wow, I could only hope to fill those shoes someday!
